Treasurer's report: Good financial shape. Seven households have unpaid association dues. Motion to approve by Sarah Williams and seconded by Nick Knowles

Sewer Finance report: May need to dip into reserves in order to cover recent expenses. There are still nine households with unpaid sewer fees. After numerous attempts to contact, and per board approval, these are the delinquent households for 2017 sewer fees:

Amy Reynolds 231 Meadow Dr. Second Half

Jan Vanacker 313 Meadow Dr. All of 2017

Angela Hoyt 136 Doe Run Second Half

Sarah Williams 143 Doe Run Second Half

John Carden 137 Fawn Ridge All of 2017

Michael Brown 412 Meadow Dr. All of 2017

John Twomey 806 Meadow Dr. All of 2016 and 2017

Sandra Dewitt 112 Dove Ave. Second Half

Doug Hagen 212 Woodchuck Ln. Second Half

The board has stated that all Meadowbrook members have chosen to live outside the city limits. These sewer fees are in replacement to that in which would be paid by those living within city limits. We have selected to receive these services through the association. Unpaid members in town would be at risk of having services shutdown. We are all members of one community and we need to lean on, and trust one another in order to function properly as neighbors.

A motion to approve the Sewer Finance report was made by Marilyn Hopper and seconded by Sarah Williams.

Dave Taylor gave a sewer report. The EPA permit renewal is due as part of regular sewer maintenance. The smell has been low and the bugs are doing great.

Please be aware of what is being flushed down the toilets in your home. No plastic bags. No Towels

A motion to approve the sewer report was made by Nick Knowles and seconded by Marilyn Hopper

When using the Burn Pile, please use caution during the fall and winter months. Please do not light the burn pile. Designated association members will be in charge of burning. Dump Only.

Please, Yard waste only. Please no plastic bags of styrofoam, etc.

The fall family picnic was a huge success. Special thanks to Mark and Donna McCaw, as well as Marilyn Hopper for their planning. You may also notice they have painted the picnic tables, making them appear new again. As requested during the picnic, the association is looking into a more permanent fire pit. A special thanks also needs to be given to the Emmet Chalmers fire department for their help with the parade and for allowing children to see the fire trucks.

You may have noticed the trees at the  Meadowbrook entrance have been pruned. Please thank Bob Northcutt and David Taylor for their help with trimming and haulaway.

Beautiful fall weather is upon us so enjoy walking your pets in the area. Please pick up after your pet and keep them on a leash.

There have been no nominations for the fall beautification award. Therefore, the board has decided to revisit the award this spring. Nominations can still be accepted by emailing the name\address to mcainfo1975@gmail.com.

Halloween Trick-or-Trick will take place on Monday, October 30th and Tuesday, October 31st. If you wish to participate. Please turn on your external lights. During these times remember to drive slowly and ask children to act responsibly. If you see anything suspicious, please contact the police department.
